If you
are looking to build expertise as a clinician in the area of Attention
Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, these are the building block books.
The "must have" books to begin with are the ones by Barkley,
Amen, Goldstein, and Parker for general clinical understanding.
Ingersoll is solid with interventions. D2D by Hallowell is very
popular. Once you have a good overall foundation, get two classes
of books: those on the neuropsychological research (Amen and others)
and books on alternative treatments such as diet, nutrition, and
neurofeedback. The future belongs to these.
